We went right before sunset, which was the right call: you see the buildings before dark and the lights come on while you are still out.

Lovely evening. Boarding was slower than we expected, so leave more time than the confirmation suggests. Once out on the water it was worth it.

Beautiful, though we missed the sparkling lights because we were at the dock both times they went off. Ask the crew about the timing before you board.
Highly recommend to anyone travelling through. Bring a coat, it is colder on the water than on the bank.
